The Chicago-based evangelical Moody Bible Institute has dropped its ban on alcohol and tobacco consumption by its 600-some faculty and staff, including for those who work in its radio and publishing arms

Moody Bible Institute-Spokane will be  offering Bachelor of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) courses this fall. 

Though formal entrance into the newly approved program won't begin until the 2014-2015 academic year, qualified students may enter the school as early as this fall and take courses leading toward the fully accredited four-year Bachelor of Arts degree, formally changing majors next year.
