For me, being in the water is when I feel closest to God. Being in the water God created makes me feel at home, at peace and safe. It makes me feel like I have a connection to God and that I’m being heard.

I find peace in experiences that build my faith in justice.

I find peace in the celebration of the Eucharist during Mass

I find peace in the slow, deliberate conversations in which individuals engage one another in profound thought and passionate feelings

As much as I love the chaos and noise of the city (I lived downtown for two years and, even in my current living situation, I hear the traffic and sirens on Division),I need moments of peace and tranquility.

I would have to reply with a resounding, “Yes!” You are submitting to your higher self, that infinite within that knows only peace.
