BRIEF: Concert to help local family adopt 2 girls from Haiti

Spokane Valley church, ONE*, will hold a benefit concert on Friday for KXLY Photographer Tim Martin and his wife, Melissa, who are trying to adopt two Haitian girls.

After a mission trip to Haiti, the couple decided to adopt the two girls, who they say captured their hearts, according to KXLY.

Pastors should be chosen on their qualifications, not age

Hard and fast 'limits' strike me as lazy. We should assess something based on its individual merits, whether it's age to start/end being a pastor, qualifications for a position, age to get married or become a parent.

Pastors and relating to age

I don't think there should be a set limit, but some people listen better to people close to their age.
