A seeker came to a Sage in distress, exclaiming, “Master, since I was a young boy, I have searched and searched to find God, I have traveled all over the world, I have studied all of the great religions, I have prayed and pleaded, I have meditated and read and served the poor, but to no avail.  I still have not found God”.  The sage sat quietly for a while and then responded, “Oh but have you looked within yourself.  There you will find God and only then will you see Him in the world and people around you”.
