Santorum to host rally in Spokane

UPDATE: SANTORUM TO HOLD RALLY AT 3 P.M., THURSDAY – NOT NOON, AS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED.

On Thursday presidential candidate Rick Santorum will hold a rally at New Life Assembly Church in Spokane. Spokane County GOP Chairman Matthew Pederson made the announcement today. Santorum's religiosity has made lots of headlines lately. He says he's a devout Catholic and recently said President Barack Obama'sagenda “is based on 'some phony theology. Not a theology based on the Bible. A different theology.'

“This week he got more attention when he toldtalk show host Glenn Beck that “62 percent of kids who go into college with a faith commitment leave without it.”

He also has called President Obama a “snob” for wanting more Americans to attend college. However experts have challenged this claim. Presidential hopeful Ron Paul will also be in Spokane this week. On Friday, at noon, he'll hold a rally at the Spokane Convention Center. He's mostly stayed out of the religion limelight and has many Muslims rallying for him

Would you vote for Rick Santorum?

    Do you agree?

  2. I think LGBT groups and allies should stage a protest.

  3. Well that would certainly spice up the coverage, lol

  4. Is this the guy who said equality only comes from Christianity? Hmmm

  5. His press secretary also claimed that Obama has “Radical Islamic policies”… It’s unbelievable how some are not ashamed to say nonsensical full of hate and ignorance statements…

  6. WE DON’T WANT HIM! He’s so ignorant, he’s dangerous. He cannot represent the American people because he seems to think that half of us are human beings.

  7. If you want to protest Santorum (and by all means, please do so!) then you can follow the coordinated efforts of others via this Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/360713040616663/
