We can fight.
We can argue.
Does the Wisdom from the Deep
have need for such squabbles?
We can point fingers,
we can stand in righteous certitude,
all the while baffled
by the Mystery that enfolds us all.
We can draw the dividing lines
and close our temple doors like our minds
but in doing so, we shut out the Love
that bursts our hearts open wide.
When will we see
how much we can learn from one another,
and come to embrace a God
that is larger than any religion?
