Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho will hold a rally today in response to the Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt ruling.

The rally will be held on the steps of the Thomas S. Foley United States Courthouse at 920 W. Riverside Ave at 4 p.m.

This gathering is both a celebration of the ruling and a call for further action.

“While Monday’s SCOTUS ruling was a victory for reproductive rights, the public needs to be aware that many barriers still exist,” Communications Manager Tiffany Harms said in a press release.

Maybe it’s just me but, it seems like a giant neener neener slap in the face to all the opposing proponents. No different than when they shove it in our face. I disagree with probably 99% of all Americans in one way or another but, shouldn’t we (the victors in this instance) be mindful of that fact and respectfully recognize the deep commitment and different religious viewpoints of the losers (basically what we’re rubbing in their face) Show some respect for their deep revere and commitment to ‘their’ religious freedom and Rights. If not then we should stop bitching when they neener neener us and show no regard for our viewpoints and conviction. And yes… I’m gonna say it again so, get ready to throw up: Us vs. Them manipulation is ‘so’ dividing.
