If I were a mystic
I am sure that I would be
a painter, a musician, a dancer and a poet
Though previously I never could
I would then
Though I have no skill for these arts
my soul would be compelled to spill over
to create the music inside
For when the soul is on fire with God
It must sing

Thank You for this Christi! Sometimes, less is more. Poetry is like that. And the flow of words becomes a flood. So, sometimes, like this little piece you have given us, less is more!
