Fred W. Fait was born in Spokane to Fred and Bertha Fait on May 29th, 1924. He lived those years leading a happy, dignified and regret-free life. Fred passed away peacefully on March 17, 2012 at home with his wife of 67 years by his side.
A memorial service will be held for Fred at Fairmont Cemetery's Sunset Chapel on Saturday March 24 at 10 a.m. The service is open to the public.

Simmons has worked as a multimedia journalist for newspapers across New Mexico, Texas, Connecticut and Washington. She is the executive director of SpokaneFāVS.com, a digital journalism start-up covering religion news and commentary in Spokane, Washington. She also writes for The Spokesman-Review and national publications. She is a Scholarly Assistant Professor of Journalism at Washington State University.
