Festival of Arts coming to West Central

Art and arists will be celebrated Sept. 21-28 at Salem Lutheran Church for the Festival of Arts in West Central.

An opening night celebration begins Sept. 21 at 6 p.m. for $5 and will include hors d'oeuvres, wine and a live auction. All proceeds will benefit The Book Parlor. Tickets are available at the door or in advance at The Book Parlor.

The festival will be open for public viewing for free from 12 to 8 p.m. Sept. 22 and 23 and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 24-26. On Sept. 27 it will be open 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 9 p.m., with poetry readings from 7 to 9 p.m. On Sept. 28 hours will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 9 p.m. and will conclude with a concert from 7 to 9 p.m.

Artists who would like to be involved should contact The Book Parlor by Sept. 7.
