An Evening with America’s First Latina Military Pilot: LTC Olga Custodio, USAF (Ret)

President McCulloh of Gonzaga University will be sponsoring Lt. Col. Olga Custodio in celebration of National Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month on October 4th from 7 pm to 8:15 pm at the Myrtle Woldson Performing Arts Center. The first Latina to complete U.S. Air Force Undergraduate Pilot Training with a fighter qualification to fly the T-38 as an instructor pilot, Olga E. Custodio will share essential life insights and perspectives that have allowed her to achieve many firsts during her career. Olga has a valuable message for everyone working to fulfill their dreams.

Co-sponsored by the Association of Latin American Students, the Unity Multicultural Education Center, and the offices of Inclusive Excellence and Transfer, Veteran & Returning Adult Services.

Book Banning Should Start with the Bible

Clearly the Bible needs to removed from our schools and libraries lest it corrupt our youth or make them feel guilty or cause them to question traditional American capitalism, individualism and nuclear family values. And of course this is just the beginning of a necessary purge. We need to remove all encyclopedias and histories that give us the low down on the human experience, all art books that depict the human figure and computers that give access to all of the above.
