Spokane Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) residents are uniting to celebrate AAPI Heritage Month and invite the community to learn about our history, culture and arts. Join us on the Centerplace’s new West Lawn pavilion with vendors, entertainment, free kids activities, and an Island style food truck. Wear a mask and stay 6 feet apart.

It’s that time of year — the “love” holiday is just around the corner — Valentine’s Day. I’ve never been a fan of this made-up excuse to entice (pressure?) people (mostly men) to spend silly amounts of money on silly things to prove just how loved their partner is.
