Church safety seminar coming to Spokane

On Jan. 31st, 2015 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Valley Real Life Church in Greenacres will host the “2015 Sheepdog Seminars for Churches.” This one-day event will focus on current trends of violence across the country in churches and will teach effective prevention techniques and church security.

Sheepdog Seminars for Churches” presents nation-wide to pastors, teachers, church-workers and anyone who is interested in preventing violence in their place of ministry. The organization aims to equip churches with the tools necessary in order to stop violence before it happens.

Speakers for the Jan. 31 event will include retired soldier, author and expert on human aggression Lt. Dave Grossman, as well as church safety expert Carl Chinn and police officer Jimmy Meeks.
