Believe it or not, maintaining a website that’s home to 50 local writers is expensive. SpokaneFāVS.com is big. For three years, almost four, the site has published thousands of news articles and columns — all with photos. And the site has lots of customized features, like the author’s box you see at the bottom of this post.
This week we had to upgrade SpokaneFāVS.com to a larger, faster server. Now we need to pay for it.
Can you help us raise $1,000 for our Web maintenance fund?
SpokaneFāVS is a local non-profit, which means your donations are tax deductible. And, this organization is run completely by volunteers. Right now all the money raised through the website, at Coffee Talk, Pub Talks and other events, goes to site maintenance and marketing and basic operating costs.
SpokaneFāVS is big. But with a little financial support from the community, can make an even bigger impact as we can make more improvements on the site and reach a larger audience.
A one time donation goes a long way, even if it’s as little as $10. Signing up for a recurring monthly donation goes even further. Whatever you’re able to do today, is very appreciated by your team here at FāVS.
Thanks for reading and for all your support.
