From now through Jan. 31 Burlington Coat Factory, 5830 N Division St., will give customers a 10 percent discount on one item by donating a gently used coat.
Union Gospel Mission will distribute the coats for free to those in need.
Also this season, Denver Mattress Company will double any donation (up to $2,500) made to UGM.
Donations, which can be made online, must be completed by Nov. 30.
According to UGM, the organization can earn the full $2,500 -— money which will provide over 1,350 meals for their guests. Anything given above $2,500 will still be used to feed, shelter and clothe the homeless during one of the busiest times of the year.
