BRIEF: Steubenville Northwest Youth Conference to bring hundreds of teens to Spokane

Hundreds of teens are expected to fill the Spokane Convention Center later this month to celebrate their Catholic faith as part of the Steubenville Northwest Youth Conference.

The conference will be July 2-28. This year's theme is “Chosen” and will feature prayer, music, preaching and the sacraments, according to the Catholic Diocese of Spokane.

The annual event has come to Spokane through the diocese since 2008.

Featured speakers include singer, songwriter, Jackie Francois, the Rev. Michael Schmitz and contemporary Christian musician Cooper Ray.
