The Rev. Paul Hoffman, author of of “Faith Forming Faith” and “Faith Shaping Ministry” will lead a Faith Formation retreat at Salem Lutheran Church this weekend.
Hoffman specializes in the renewal of the Catechumenate process, which is described as a time of teaching and preparing for baptism.
In his books he describes how his Seattle parish was renewed and revitalized for mission after, “forming the faith of new Christians and leading them to the waters of baptism.”
Hoffman will deliver a lecture at 9:45 a.m Saturday that is open to the public. Weekend worship services will also be open to the public.
