
A meditation marathon will begin at 8 a..m., Sept. 21 at the Spokane Buddhist Temple, and continue through 10:30 a.m., Sept. 22.
The marathon falls on the Fall Equinox, which is also the International Day of Peace.
“Be a part of the positive, healing energy generated for peace in the world,” the temple said in a news release.
The event is open to people of all traditions. The temple urges attendees to:
- Come for 30 minutes or more and meditate/pray either sitting, standing, or walking.
