Like most members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I have art prints of the Savior in my home; we seek to emulate Him and remember Him always, so it makes sense to have visual reminders. LDS people don’t typically display crucifixes, not because we object to them, but because we choose to emphasize the resurrected Christ, of course without ever forgetting what he suffered for us.

What am I thankful for? I’ll mention only three of the hundreds of things for which I am thankful.

Technology is greatly helping my faith, and here are just a few of the ways, big and small, in no particular order, that we love technology:

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon/LDS) is big time into genealogy/family history, and you can imagine how computers and the internet have helped that work.

I consider humor to be an essential – I enjoy it, and it’s a coping technique, when coping is needed.

My faith influences my wardrobe year round, though of course that influence is more noticeable when we all want to dress  (or undress) for the heat.

In the LDS faith, we believe that all of us are children of God, made in His image, and that our bodies are temples and should be treated with respect.

Nieces and nephews, as a category, are one of God’s very best ideas, and definitely one of my personal favorites. Their relationships with aunts and uncles are some of life’s best.
