What is the American Jew’s opinion of women in combat?

There is no one opinion for Jews, much less American Jews. We all have different observance levels, different beliefs, and different opinions.

That being said, this Jew supports women in combat.
Serving in the IDF is mandatory in Israel for men and women. Women have been involved in the Israeli military from the very beginning.

As a former military wife, an American, and a Jew, I fully support women in combat if that’s where the female soldier wants to be.

Idaho’s Race to the Bottom

Idaho in the ‘80s and ‘90s and into the early years of this century became an “end-of-the-road” destination, the northern, western state where all roads metaphorically end, collecting the wackaloons and nutcases — and worse — who were fleeing other parts of the country in search of religious fundamentalism and their version of racial purity.

  1. BTW, on the subject of women in combat, the Israeli movie “Zero Motivation” is hilarious, a smart military satire. The Spokane Jewish Cultural Film Festival screened it in 2015.
