  • Anti-inflammatory properties – Echinacea helps reduce excess inflammation and helps in reducing the memory loss caused by inflammation.

Method of consumption 

There are no official dosage recommendations for the plant as the findings from Echinacea are highly variable. However, 300-500 mg in powdered form or 10ml/day in tinctures seems to be effective in increasing immunity. 

2.  Delta  8

Delta 8 is a cannabinoid found and extracted from the cannabis plant. Grown in the lands of Indonesia, the herb has been gaining immense popularity in recent times due to its potential benefits on physical and mental health. 

  • Neuroprotective properties – Scientists started exploring Delta 8 benefits due to the remarkable neuroprotective properties. It has qualities that inhibit the release of adenylyl cyclase and regulate potassium and calcium channels in the central nervous system. These actions can lead to better brain and mental health.

4.  St. John’s Wort

St. John Wort (SJW) is an herbal medicine derived from the flowering plant Hypericum Perforatum; these are small, yellow flowers commonly used to make teas, capsules, and extracts. The usage of this herb traces back to ancient Greece.    

  • Helping Depression – SJW is being used as an antidepressant. The true nature and extent of the herbal effects on depression are unknown. Users of the herbs have been vouch for promising results. It is because the herb interacts with many medications.

  • Helps in Anxiety – Patients with anxiety often associate themselves with valerian root as the herb helps calm their nerves and induce relaxing effects. A small dose of 120 to 200 mg three to four times is enough to streamline the day. 
  • Helps with Insomnia – A higher dose of 300-600 mg of valerian root will help get rid of insomnia. You can feel the optimal effects after a couple of weeks. 

Method of consumption – 

For anxiety, a small dose of 120-200 mg is enough to help through the day, and for insomnia, a higher dosage of 300-600mg, 2 hours before sleeping.
