Family Promise of Spokane, a nonprofit serving local homeless, will unveil an artist's rendition of the Spokane Alphabet during a special ceremony at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture (The MAC) at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Last school year nearly 800 Spokane Valley students were homeless or living in transitional housing, according to The HEART Program.
