Andy Robblee, ’95, president of Six Robblees’, Inc., was elected to the Whitworth University Board of Trustees on April 18 during the board’s spring meeting.

Since 2009, Robblee has served as president of Six Robblees’, Inc., which distributes wheels, trailer parts, heavy-duty parts and tire shop supplies and equipment. The company has been in Robblee’s family since its founding in 1913. Robblee was vice president of the company from 1998 to 2008.

Whitworth President Beck A. Taylor says, “Whitworth’s board of trustees includes women and men who have placed Whitworth University among their highest priorities. Board members’ faithful leadership and generosity empower the university’s mission to provide a mind-and-heart education to graduates who will honor God, follow Christ and serve humanity.”

Taylor continues, “Andy Robblee will bring a uniquely qualified perspective to his service on the board. As a successful businessman, he will help to ensure that the university provides the most educational value for our students. As a dedicated Christian, he wants nothing more than for our students and university to live up to highest standards of Christian faith and practice. Finally, as an alumnus, Andy knows firsthand how the university can have a transformational impact on its students, and I know that students will be his first priority. I am deeply grateful to Andy and to his wife, Michelle, for their willingness to serve.”

At Whitworth, Robblee received a bachelor’s degree in business management and minors in computer science and economics. He earned an MBA from Bentley University in 1997. He currently serves on the board of directors for Commercial Vehicles Solution Network and Ascot Supply. Robblee is also a member of the president’s advisory council for Alaska Christian College.

Robblee and his wife, Michelle (Mooney) Robblee, ’94, have two children. Andy’s father, Dave Robblee, ’62, brother, Tim Robblee, ’89, and sister, Beth (Robblee) Soderlund, ’98, are also Whitworth alumni.

Located in Spokane, Wash., Whitworth is a private liberal arts university affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA). The university, which has an enrollment of 3,000 students, offers 60 undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
