I believe we should have stricter gun control laws, but more importantly, we should fund mental health services so those in need have better access to care.

I agree with Megan. There should be a two-pronged effort to both screen the population for sociopathic individuals and do our best to keep the tools of mass murder out of their hands.

Absolutely not. Strict gun control laws never have and never will stop evil, crazy people from doing their evil thing with guns. Four of the five worst gun massacres have happened in countries with much stricter gun control laws than ours. Liberals always use this type of tragedy to try to push their anti-freedom gun control agenda.

Im more concerned about the trend of suicide bombs than guns. Bombing is the preferred ugly act of mass terror. We can take the guns and still not stop someone from walking into a school, a movie theater or driving up to a Government building and detonating themselves.
I think “stricter laws” has to be defined before an answer could be given on my part.
I think screenings or a test in the vein of a drivers license makes sense to me.
