Thomas Friedman, Jane Goodall coming to Gonzaga

Gonzaga University announced this week that its Presidential Speaker Series will two internationally renowned figures to campus as part of Gonzaga’s 125th Anniversary celebration. Three-time Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author Thomas L. Friedman will speak Sept. 4, and primatologist and conservationist Dr. Jane Goodall will speak April 9.

BRIEF: Gonzaga aims for climate neutrality

Gonzaga University President Thayne McCulloh has approved Gonzaga’s first comprehensive Climate Action Plan, which aims for Gonzaga to achieve climate neutrality — zero emissions — by 2050, said Brian G. Henning, associate professor of philosophy and co-chair of Gonzaga’s Advisory Council on Stewardship and Sustainability in a press release.
