A Celtic Communion Service will be held at St. David’s Episcopal Church, 7513 N. Wall, at 7 p.m., Aug. 30.
The theme for the service is “Music for the Journey" and will explore the spirituality of music.
Celtic music by Brett and Janet Dodd will be offered. The service includes sung chants, Celtic prayers and a special reading.

The weekly Celtic celebrations will focus on four saints: Columba, Aiden, Hilda and Julian of Norwich, according to a news release

The service will feature the traditional imposition of ashes, a communion service and reflections on the theme of feeding and fasting, according to a news release.
