BRIEF: Celtic Communion Service to be held Aug. 30

A Celtic Communion Service will be held at St. David’s Episcopal Church, 7513 N. Wall,  at 7 p.m., Aug. 30.

The theme for the service is “Music for the Journey" and will explore the spirituality of music.

Celtic music by Brett and Janet Dodd will be offered. The service includes sung chants, Celtic prayers and a special reading.

BRIEF: Church to host Celtic service to begin Lent

A Celtic Communion Service to begin the season of Lent will be held at St. David’s Episcopal Church (7315 N. Wall, Spokane) on Feb. 13 at 7 p.m. The service will feature the traditional imposition of ashes, a communion service and reflections on the theme of feeding and fasting, according to a news release.
