BRIEF: Upcoming rummage sale to help Sravasti Abbey, World Relief Spokane

The Friends of Sravasti Abbey will be holding a rummage sale at Unity Church Aug. 11 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Monies earned will go toward the abbey's grocery fund. The monastics at the abbey only eat what is donated to them.

Items that go unsold will be donated to the evangelical organization, World Relief Spokane, to help international refugees relocating here.

Those willing to donate items for the rummage sale may do so Aug. 10 from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Unity Church.  To drop-off prior call (805) 286-5172. Trucks and volunteers are also needed.
