It's not like it sounds.

After a year of toying with the idea The Big Table decided this month to host B.S. in a bar.

That's B.S. as in bible study, folks.

On Monday the first one was held at Satellite Diner and on Wednesday the second one will be at The Flying Goat at 9:30 p.m.

According to an announcement from The Big Table, which is a non-profit organization serving Spokane's food service industry, the bible studies are low-key, simple conversations about spirituality, the bible, Jesus and how those things relate in today's society.

Snacks will be provided and there will also be a time for questions.

For information call Kevin Finch at (509) 999-7429.
