BRIEF: Church to host Celtic service to begin Lent

A Celtic Communion Service to begin the season of Lent will be held at St. David’s Episcopal Church (7315 N. Wall, Spokane) on Feb. 13 at 7 p.m.

The service will feature the traditional imposition of ashes, a communion service and reflections on the theme of feeding and fasting, according to a news release.

All are welcome to the contemplative service which will also include sung chants, Celtic prayers and music by Janet Dodd.
