BRIEF: Catholic bishop to lead Mass for Life

Bishop Blase Cupich ordains 18 men into the deaconate Credit: Tracy Simmons

Catholic Charities Spokane and the Catholic Diocese of Spokane will host a Mass for Life on Jan. 21 at noon at the Cathedral of our Lady of Lourdes, 1115 W. Riverside Ave.  Bishop Blase Cupich will preside.

According to a press release, "The mass is a celebration of God’s great gift of life, with prayers for life at all stages and in all conditions."

 The Mass also commemorates the 40th Anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision.  People of all faiths are welcome to attend.
