Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! I hope your weekend is filled with barbecues and sunny weather.

I’m not surprised many churches, like Mount St. Michael, are showing “Courageous” this Father’s Day. The Christian film is about the importance of fatherhood. St. Michael’s will be showing of the movie on Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 12:30 p.m.

In case you missed the live show on Monday, Revolutionary Spirituality hosted Andrew Bowen. You remember him. We ran his story a while ago about his experience practicing 12 different religions in 12 months. You can listen to the hour-long episode “Project Conversion” here.

In case you’re not interested in practicing other faiths, and instead would like to practice your evangelism techniques, you may interested in knowing about His Touch Seminar: Presenting Lifestyle Evangelism Through Gentle Persuasion. The seminar, led by Jerry Larson, is designed to help Christians, use their “spiritual gifts, natural talents, and abilities to effectively impact the secular, non-church culture,” according to an announcement. It will be at Valley Bible Church June 20 and 27 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Cost is $10.

July will be here before you know it, so it’s probably wise to make plans now if you want to attend the Whitworth Institute of Ministry. The week-long program begins July 9. The conference is, “for pastors, laity, and their families to refresh and renew while hearing from Biblical scholars and preachers.” This year’s theme is “Our hope for year’s to come.” For information click here.
