Gunman kills dozens at Connecticut school

The Associated Press is reporting that 27 people have been killed, including 18 children, at an elementary school shooting in Connecticut this morning.

  1. I have fond memories of Newtown. My heart breaks for that sweet, peaceful community. Not such a Merry Christmas anymore, for far too many families.

I have been interested in the conversations in our nation since the massacre of the children in Newton, Conn. It is clear that the event has pushed some beyond the standard language of the past.
