BRIEF: Women of Faith Conference kicks off Friday

The annual Women of Faith Conference begins tomorrow at Spokane Arena.

This year's theme, "Celebrate What Matters," focuses on God's constant love — through triumphs and tragedies, according to a news release. The two-day event will include stories, Bible teachings, live music and a live ballet.

Women of Faith, which is a four-month tour spanning 23 cities, will feature the following Grammy Award-winning artists and best-selling authors:

- Best-selling author, speaker, and singer Sheila Walsh

- “Bad Girls of the Bible” author Liz Curtis Higgs

- Multi-Award winning musical group Selah

- Comedian and storyteller Ken Davis

- Grammy winning singer CeCe Winans

Several other speakers and performers will also be at the conference. For information visit the Women of Faith website.
