According to the Associated Press, Hamas leader and nearby civilians were killed today in one of at least 20 Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.

The news report called it, "The worst barrage on the Palestinian territory in four years in retaliation for renewed rocket fire on southern Israel."

At least 10 people have been killed, including two children. The death toll is expected to rise.

The Peace and Justice Action League of Spokane is responding by urging citizens to "call on the Obama administration to exert diplomatic pressure on Israel to bring about an immediate cease-fire and to initiate an investigation of Israel's misuse of U.S. weapons against Palestinians in this and previous attacks."

In Spokane, advocates are planning a rally on Main and Division at 5 p.m.

  1. From Hala, in Gaza:
Tracy we would like to know the response of the Americans toward this Israeli attack on Gaza plz >> is there any demons for supporting this and calling the government to force Israel to stop it !?”

  2. We had a wonderful speaker from Israel at our church Sunday.  One of the things he mentioned was that our left-wing liberal media never reports attacks, rocket attacks on Israel, only their retaliation.  Someone ought to tell the cowardly terrorists, hamas, etc. to quit firing rockets in the first place. If you look at the map insert, why in the world can’t Israel have what is hers, that tiny bit of land, without the whole world jumping down their throats.  I’ll tell you why, because the world hates God’s people, because their father, Lucifer hates them.  Always has, always will.  If you hate Israel you hate God, because He was the One that did the choosing, (Deut. 4:37, 7:7).

  3. For the record, this was just a brief announcing the rally.
The AP link above explains the whole story, including the reason for the retaliation

  4. Dennis,
So your friend from Israhell came to tell you that the media is not doing a good job portraying the brutal occupation as innocent and the Palestinians as terrorists?!? It’s like you needed more brainwashing so your church invited an israhelli to give you a better view on the conflict… What a shame!
Anyhow, I just don’t get when a Christian feels “love” and sympathy for the Zionists… the same people who killed your God… isn’t it? And call him a bastard!!! Keep loving them they are sucking you alive and you don’t even know it… look where your taxes go… look at the wars you’re waging on their behalf. Here are some Jews standing for justice:

But because you sound like a person who needs narrators coming and telling them what happens in the world… here is a video from “60 minutes” it should tell how you fellow christians are treated in the holly land.

We, Palestinians, teach life
