Join us with the lead organizer from Seattle, Joe Chrastil to discuss a very important state-wide issue — revenue. Four years of deep budget cuts have slashed billions from education, health and human services, natural resources, criminal justice and other funds critical to maintaining a strong, healthy, well-educated Washington State. Supreme Court mandated investments in K-12 public education will require even deeper cuts to other parts of the state budget unless citizens demand that the size of the pie be expanded. We will be discussing and further developing a proposed 3-year campaign to engage 1,000's of Washington residents in deciding what kind of services we need from our state and how we should pay for them.
