Description: In the Spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, you are invited to a take some time apart for prayer and reflection as we begin this special season of Lent. Allow God to touch your heart as you seek a renewed spirit . Join with others for this day of quiet renewal in a relaxing spiritual atmosphere to seek God in the ordinary, in scripture and in your own heart. There will be opportunity for guided reflection time and prayer, personal quiet time and sharing with others. It is suggested that you bring a bible and a prayer journal. You might like to bring walking shoes. The Franciscan Place at SJFC is in a serene setting along the Spokane River near the campus of Gonzaga University. There is easy access to the Centennial Trail and Mission Park for those who like contemplative walks.
