As part of the Spokane Gives week, Catholic Charities’ Spokane Furniture Bank is hosting a Donation Palooza on April 12 from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. at 919 E Trent Ave.

The Furniture Bank will kick off the Palooza with as many as 150 volunteers who will help volunteer throughout numerous Catholic Charities programs that day, according to a press release.

The Furniture Bank is a Catholic Charities program that helps creates a  vibrant and sustainable community by accepting donated furniture and household items in assistance to low-income and homeless individuals as they transition into stable housing.

Needed Items include:

  • Gently Used Furniture: dressers, comfort seating, end tables, coffee tables, nightstands, dinette tables & chairs
  • Kitchenware: flatware, dishes, kitchen utensils, pots and pans
  • Bed, bath and kitchen linens
  • Complete bed sets (mattress, box spring, entire frame) in Twin, Full and Queen
  • Clothing
