Temperatures have soared the past few days and it seems like an appropriate time to bring up global warming.

It's been a controversial issue for years now. National Geographic reported recently, "The Earth's average temperature has risen more than 1 degree Fahrenheit (0.8 degrees Celsius) over the last century, and about twice that in parts of the Arctic."

The question, the magazine reads, has become about how to respond to this issue.

But not everyone is convinced this is something to panic about.

A recent letter published in the Wall Street Journal, signed by 16 scientists says global warming isn't supported by science.

And, for the record, it seems anything to do with natural disasters (which includes climate change) is indeed a religious issue.
